Job Description:
This position is a general maintenance position for upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, welding, and carpentry tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks for the upkeep of the buildings and the grounds.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all machinery.
- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks on all forklifts and machinery.
- Use carpentry, plumbing, and electrical for minor repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors.
- Perform basic welding tasks, i.e., MIG and stick welding.
- Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times.
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
- Serve as liaison with vendors for facility repairs.
- Purchase equipment/supplies for facility-related repairs.
Qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding, and electrical skills.
- General knowledge of working with small pumps and motors.
- Ability to read and understand manuals to assist in repairs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hours.
