Description

Position Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on production equipment in our manufacturing facility. The technician will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance. This role will partner with engineering in order to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Schedule:Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday 5am-5pm

Pay: $25-$32/hour (DOE)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in manufacturing equipmentConduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring problemsWork with electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and control panels, while adhering to safety standardsTroubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including air hoses, fittings, valves, solenoids, and actuatorsMake precise adjustments to machinery to optimize performance and ensure quality productionAdjust equipment as necessary to meet operational standardsWell versed on the use of various hand tools and power toolsBasic understanding of Automation equipmentPerform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipmentMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairsWork closely with production and quality staff to minimize downtime and improve efficiencyCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding equipment status and maintenance needsMaintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts inventoryControl Spare parts availability and usage
