    A Day in The Life of a Maintenance Technician

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and a repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities mechanical and electrical systems. Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems. Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports. Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log. Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.

    Education & Experience

    High school degree or equivalent required. 5 years of service and maintenance of electric machinery required. 2 years of facility repair and maintenance experience required. 2 years of handling high voltage test equipment required; 5 years preferred.

    Skills & Requirements

    Proficient in mechanical calibration. Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
