About the role
The Maintenance Technician works closely with the AV Specialist and iRide Specialist to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of AV, ride, building systems, and equipment. This is a full-time role with all day in office. The wage for this role is $32-$35 USD/hourly.
What you'll do
Monitor and ensure guest and team member safety at all times
Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency
Comply with OH&S policies and safe work procedures
Serve as a ride operator as needed
Perform daily ride safety checks
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all issues, resolutions and maintenance using CMMS
Monitor and communicate proper inventory levels for all parts and consumables to the Technical Manager
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance of AV and ride systems
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of building and related fixtures (ie. Painting, plumbing, HVAC maintenance)
Support special and seasonal events as

Ideal Experience & Qualifications
Technical background with an emphasis in A/V, mechanical repair, or facilities maintenance or combination thereof
Knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, building, and computer systems
Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment when required
Familiarity with theme park maintenance and operation of ride systems is a plus
Ability to make decisions, solve problems and exercise good judgment
Strong commitment to building positive working relationships
Willingness to work with a geographically dispersed team in a seasonal environment
Resourceful, with a curiosity to solve problems and create new solutions
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Sense of urgency to complete job duties accurately and in a timely manner
Sense of humor and ability to ‘let things roll’ when the unexpected happens

Physical Requirements
Moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
Positions self to service and install equipment which may include bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, or reaching
Frequently moves throughout jobsite and uses stairs
May spend extended periods in stationary positions
Uses ladders and elevated work platforms to complete tasks
Works at height utilizing fall protection equipment
