local property management company is searching for a Maintenance Technician <\/b>for Washington Park<\/b>, a 435 -unit apartment complex located in the Kent area<\/span>. <\/span><\/span>The
Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing building maintenance and
perform unit make -ready duties on multifamily residential buildings.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>The ideal candidate will possess basic
maintenance skills as well as the ability to communicate with residents and
vendor. <\/span>The schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00
- 4:00 PM. <\/span><\/span>

Key
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:<\/span><\/b>
<\/div><\/div>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Responsible for
completion of general maintenance tasks, including service requests,
turnover -functions and curb appeal.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Unit Work Orders such as clogged
garbage disposals, toilets, sinks and tubs; leaky faucets, shower heads and
anything the resident breaks.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Light appliance repair,
knobs, burners, heat elements, broken handles, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Daily walk of the grounds,
vacuum and pick -up garbage as needed to keep areas well maintained.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Diagnose
and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and
professional manner. Assure all service requests are completed daily.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Follow -up
on completed and incomplete service requests to ensure satisfaction.<\/span>
On -call for emergency
calls such as fire, floods, emergency repairs, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Other duties as needed.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
What the
Successful Maintenance Technician will have:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician. <\/span>Prior maintenance experience in property
management strongly preferred.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Proficient with general repairs/maintenance work, basic appliance repair,
plumbing and electrical.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Heavy appliance and pool experience is a plus.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
with residents and vendors.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Able to work well independently and also collaborate effectively with manager.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Excellent troubleshooting and problem -solving skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Strong attention to detail.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Hiring is contingent on passing a background check and drug test. <\/span>
