JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to support and maintain production tools in a wafer manufacturing environment. The role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced cleanroom setting, ensuring equipment reliability, uptime, and adherence to safety and quality standards while working both independently and collaboratively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment using established procedures and OJT Accurately document maintenance activities in tool logbooks and CMMS Troubleshoot and repair equipment to identify root causes and ensure long-term reliability Support Tool Owners and Equipment Engineers in improving tool performance and uptime Maintain detailed records including PM checklists, part usage, and maintenance history Continuously enhance technical skills through formal and informal training Follow cleanroom protocols and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts) Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of electrical safety and operational theory PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment (Photo, Thin Films, Plating, Etch, CMP) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Knowledge of control systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Familiarity with failure analysis, root cause analysis, and repair documentation Experience using digital voltmeters (DVMs) and standard mechanical tools Entry-level experience in equipment maintenance or related field Technical background in electronics, mechanical systems, or semiconductor industry CERTIFICATIONS Technical degree in Electronics or related field ASE Certified Mechanic Military electro/mechanical training Education: Associate's Degree
