Job Title: Maintenance Technician II - 3rd Shift Job Location: Chantilly, VA- 20151 Duration: 3+ months of Contract with possible extension Shift: Mon-Fri (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) EST Note: Should be flexible for on-call for 24/7 emergency coverage in the building Job Summary: Responsible for keeping the facility in safe, working condition by performing general maintenance, repairs, and equipment upkeep. Key Responsibilities: Perform basic electrical repairs and assist with installing equipment Handle minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, installing fixtures, and clearing drains Carry out carpentry work including repairs to doors, floors, walls, and furniture Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good condition Assist with basic HVAC (air conditioning) maintenance and repairs Follow up on maintenance and quality issues to ensure timely resolution Support other maintenance tasks as assigned Requirements: 5+ years of experience in general building maintenance Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Able to follow written and verbal instructions Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift: Frequently: up to 10 lbs Occasionally: up to 25 lbs Rarely: up to 50 lbs (assistance required for heavier items)I
