We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician I to join a fast paced manufacturing environment in Ontario, CA. This position is ideal for a hands on maintenance mechanic with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working with CNC machinery. Candidates must be dependable, safety focused, and capable of performing preventative maintenance and repairs independently.

This facility operates under ITAR regulations. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person. Drug screening and background check are required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues independently
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Replace belts, hoses, bearings, and other mechanical components
  • Maintain lubrication and coolant systems on production equipment
  • Perform machine adjustments including gibs, proximity switches, and pump pressure settings
  • Conduct light electrical repairs and installations involving single phase and three phase circuits
  • Assist with facility maintenance including lighting and basic building systems
  • Read and interpret mechanical prints and technical documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience repairing and maintaining CNC machinery preferred
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics
  • Understanding of different bearing types and their applications
  • Basic electrical experience with single phase and three phase systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills
