Maintenance Technician – HVAC – Sign on Bonus $1,000 ($500 upon hire $500 at 90 days)

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as instructed by the Maintenance Coordinator and property staff.This position ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards and any applicable laws.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)
• Preparation of recently vacated units for occupancy
• Work closely with the property manager to ensure a tenant focused environment
• Utilize company tenant/maintenance software to manage and complete work orders

Skills/Qualifications:

• HVAC certification required
• Electrical, plumbing, interior, and exterior repairs
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Reliable transportation and valid driver license
• Flexibility to take and respond to after-hours emergency and on-call rotation
• Must pass background check amp; pre-employment drug screening
• High School diploma or equivalent

Job Type:Full-time

Pay:$19 - $24 per hour
