Job Details

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose machine failures and complete emergency repairs.
Install, test and commission new manufacturing equipment.
Read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and ladder logic schematics.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and modify ladder logic when necessary.
Program, repair and troubleshoot automated machinery and robotics.
Perform welding, cutting and light fabrication repairs.
Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, grinders and drill presses.
Inspect machinery for wear, alignment and mechanical failures.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
Document repairs and maintenance activities within CMMS.
Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures.
Mentor junior maintenance technicians when applicable.
Work safely while following all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Qualifications Needed:
Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, Trade School or equivalent experience
2-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience reading blueprints, electrical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment
Ability to use machine shop equipment including lathes, drill presses and grinders
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Experience documenting repairs within a CMMS system
Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed
