Job Description Maintenance Technician
Location: High Point, NC
The Maintenance Technician works both independently and as part of a team to support and improve maintenance operations. This role involves handling a variety of mechanical and (preferred) electrical projects in a manufacturing environment. You will regularly interact with supervisors, operators, maintenance leadership, and occasionally contractors or visitors.

1st Shift
Pay Rate:
$25.00 $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar maintenance role
- Manufacturing experience required
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and measurement skills
- PLC programming experience (preferred)
- Basic machine shop and welding knowledge
- Ability to work with high and low voltage systems
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production
- Assist with training team members on basic equipment troubleshooting
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Respond to after-hours maintenance needs as required
Working Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor work
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and varying weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
