Job Description

As a member of the Maintenance team, the Maintenance Technician ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements along with repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Robotic Systems Troubleshooting is critical to this role. Must be able to troubleshoot and adjust PLC and HMI programs and electronically tune and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper operation.

Must be able to apply knowledge and expertise in the performance of scheduled and unscheduled machine setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance service.

Responsibilities

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
  • Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunction; including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
  • Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair the following:
  • Mechanical fixtures and machines
  • Pneumatic controls, clamps, and lines
  • Hydraulic controls, clamps, and lines
  • Electric and Electronic systems, incl. PLCs and CPUs (Allen Bradley)
  • Robotic adjustments on Fanuc and Motoman/Yaskawa robots
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and various robotic systems (such as MiR AMR and Fanuc)

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience

Certifications / Licenses

  • Valid driver license
  • Bonus if you have a Journeyman Card in Electrical, Machine Repair or Machine Building
