QUALIFICATIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all production equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems. 
  • Minimize equipment downtime through timely diagnosis and repairs. 
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues before failures occur. 
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks according to established maintenance schedules. 
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation. 
  • Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments to maintain production quality. 
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery. 
  • Maintain facility infrastructure including HVAC systems, compressed air systems, boilers, plumbing, lighting, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems. 
  • Maintain loading docks, doors, conveyors, and warehouse equipment.

Job Summary: 

As the Maintenance - Technician, you will perform a wide variety of duties to repair and maintain production equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Troubleshoot equipment to locate cause of issue. 
  • Dismantle equipment to gain access to defective parts. 
  • Examine form and texture of part to detect imperfections. 
  • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. 
  • Repair and replace defective parts. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions. 
  • Knowledge of PLC's is preferred. 
  • Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials. 
  • Ability to learn computer applications such as MaintainX. 
  • Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed. 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. 
  • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment. 
  • May require specific vision abilities that include close vision. 
  • May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time. 
  • May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight. 
  • May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours. 
  • Working in different temperatures (heat and cold).

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
