* 2–5+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of packaging machinery or automated production equipment
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Experience with PLC or similar computer-controlled systems
* Hands-on experience with automated top load cartoners, weighers, bag making machines, filling systems, and related packaging equipment
* Experience servicing top load formers, end load cartoners, product handlers, wraparound cartoning machines, and special applications equipment
* Ability to perform installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of new machinery
* Experience performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
* Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to train operators and maintenance staff
* Ability to work independently and manage regional travel assignments
* Technical school certification in a related field preferred
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
* Ability to work overtime as needed

* Install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain packaging machinery and automated production equipment
* Perform field service support for automated top load cartoners, weighers, bag making machines, and filling systems

* Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service programs
* Respond to emergency service calls and perform onsite repairs to minimize downtime
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
* Train customer operators and maintenance staff through PMMI Certified Training programs
* Manage Extended Service Contracts to improve production uptime and reduce costs
* Travel regionally to customer sites for installations, maintenance, training, and repair assignments
* Recommend replacement parts, upgrades, and modifications to improve machinery performance
* Maintain accurate documentation of service work, repairs, and maintenance activities
* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient operation of production lines

Your high visibility will be crucial to the on-going growth of our company. You will be the face of our Extended Service Contracts, designed to save money and avoid lost production time.
You will support our machines with installation and validation, preventative maintenance, and immediate onsite repairs when required.
You will also conduct on-going PMMI Certified Training programs for our customer's operators.
Our Field Service Technician will have excellent Mechanical and Electrical skills, and PLC or similar computer software experience. A college degree is not necessary, but a technical school certification in a related area is a plus.
