Shift Times: 6:30am-2:30pm Mon-Fri

Mechanical ability, reliable attendance, and transportation, Communication, Ability to follow directions. Some maintenance work experience nice but not required. Ability to lift 60lbs

• PPE: Over the ankle steel toe boots.

• Note: Position will require use of ladders and lifts: Ladders are 8ft. We require a tie off for anything above 4ft. Lifts are no higher than 40ft with a tie off at all times.

Description:

General Maintenance Operator needed for assembly of corn husking beds and relevant equipment. 
Must have mechanical ability and be safety minded. 
Key characteristics are the ability to listen, follow directions and communicate. 
Candidate must have reliable attendance and transportation. 
General maintenance or agriculture experience helpful but not required.
 

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure all work meets clients safety standards through consistent practices
• Support plant operations through corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools
• assist and complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed
• Assist in maintaining detailed equipment records
• Working with Operations to ensure maintenance activities are completed without interrupting production
• Other duties as assigned

Generally, this role is a 6:00 am - 2:30 pm / 40/hr week assignment. 
During busy seasons, workers may need to work a second or third shift for a period of time, generally for a few weeks and with notice. 
During harvest, workers may also be required to work longer days and/or weekends due to weather conditions and business needs.
