    Role Summary

    Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians with either a strong electrical or multicraft maintenance background to support plant operations. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and production efficiency.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy manufacturing or high-volume production environments and be comfortable working independently on a rotating night shift schedule.


    Key Responsibilities

    Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

    • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
    • Maintain and troubleshoot motors, starters, relay logic circuits, electrical metering devices, and other industrial electrical systems
    • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
    • Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
    • Assist with equipment installation, modifications, and commissioning

    Electrical Systems

    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
    • Maintain low- and high-voltage electrical systems in accordance with applicable electrical codes and standards
    • Program, troubleshoot, and support programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated equipment
    • Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and components to identify potential issues before failures occur

    Safety & Compliance

    • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all plant safety policies
    • Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety regulations and electrical standards
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Technical certification, trade school education, or equivalent training preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
    • Strong electrical or multicraft troubleshooting skills
    • Experience working in heavy manufacturing, industrial production, or high-volume production environments
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
    • Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
    • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Willingness to work a rotating night shift (12-hour, 3-2-2 schedule)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with industrial electrical systems, including low- and high-voltage equipment
    • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
    • Experience supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
    • Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and industrial safety standards

    Schedule

    • Full-time
    • Night shift only
    • 12-hour rotating schedule (3-2-2 rotation)
    • Weekend and holiday work as required by production schedules
