SUMMARY
Maintaining, repairing, and servicing school mechanical systems (heating and air, electrical systems, and plumbing). Position requires knowledge of electrical-mechanical systems, ability to observe operations, detect problems and take appropriate preventative or corrective actions. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a School Bus Driver certificate and CDL.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; minimum of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
