Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Location: Eatontown, NJ 07724
Pay Rate: $29 - $35/hr, paid weekly
Duration: 1 Year+
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Overview
Seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment who enjoys hands-on work and keeping equipment operating efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and plant equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, optical, and vacuum systems.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with equipment modifications and upgrades to improve performance.
  • Estimate labor and equipment requirements and prepare requisitions when needed.
  • Support continuous operation and reliability of manufacturing equipment.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and/or regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced (Level 3) troubleshooting experience.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Vocational, technical, or trade school education and/or certification.
