Our 624-unit apartment community is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to delivering an outstanding resident experience.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and other general maintenance issues
  • Complete service requests efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize the life and performance of building systems and equipment
  • Assist with apartment turns, preparing homes for new residents
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Support seasonal responsibilities and help maintain the overall appearance of the property
  • Communicate professionally with residents and onsite team members regarding repairs, timelines, and updates
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours maintenance needs and emergency response

Compensation & Incentives:

  • $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Base Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
  • Up to 50% Rent Discount
  • Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
  • Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
  • On-Call Appreciation: $15/day while holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Rotating paid on-call participation required
  • Must be available for weather-related and emergency maintenance events
  • Schedule may adjust based on business needs

What Well Expect From You:

  • Experience performing general maintenance repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize multiple service requests
  • Comfortable using smartphones, mobile work order applications, email, and other technology to manage daily responsibilities
  • Active, valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Must live within a reasonable distance to support on-call and emergency response
  • HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
