Job Details

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and building control systems
Review and manage assigned work orders; estimate time and materials required and maintain appropriate inventory of tools and supplies
Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building machinery and systems beyond rated specifications
Conduct and review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to verify operations are within design capabilities and client-prescribed environmental conditions
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and internal safety directives related to building operations
Operate company-issued vehicles safely in the execution of daily responsibilities
Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex maintenance challenges and develop innovative solutions
Coach and mentor team members; share deep knowledge across job disciplines within the engineering function
Serve as a lead-by-example team member aligned with core organizational values

Qualifications
Needed:

High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Diploma; combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered
Minimum 4–5 years of job-related experience in building systems, facilities maintenance, or a related trade
Universal CFC Certification required
Valid Driver's License required
Experience or strong background in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and/or life safety systems maintenance
Proven ability to read and interpret work orders, estimate labor/materials, and manage inventory independently
Working knowledge of building compliance standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to meet physical demands: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
