Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be entrusted with ensuring the seamless operation of food manufacturing lines. This includes performing preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, rollers, and three-phase motors. The primary product handled is apples.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production equipment using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
+ Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
+ Collaborate with a team to maintain operational efficiency.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical skills and aptitude for repair and maintenance.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment adjustments and repairs.
+ 2-3+ years of maintenance experience in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in food, beverage, or packaging industry is preferred but not required.
+ 2-3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Work Environment
Work in a cold room environment with temperatures between 40-45 degrees. You will be part of a maintenance team of 6-8 members in a plant with over 80 production workers and warehouse associates. Safety shoes are provided by the company. The first shift starts at 6 AM or 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with additional work on Saturdays (2-3 per month) expected as the team becomes fully operational later in the year.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
