Maintenance Technician
Location Dallas, TX 75228 | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $28–32/hour BOE
• Monday–Friday (7am–4pm or 9am–6pm, rotating) + rotating Saturdays/on-call as needed; No nights
• Direct Hire (W2)
• Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
The Maintenance Technician ensures equipment reliability, facility functionality, and operational continuity within a fast-paced industrial distribution environment. Success in this role means minimizing downtime, maintaining a safe and organized facility, and proactively resolving mechanical and electrical issues before they impact production. This position plays a critical role in sustaining daily operations and supporting long-term facility improvements.
• Diagnose and repair electrical components including motors, relays, switches, and wiring
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on warehouse and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic (air-powered systems), hydraulic (fluid power systems), and general equipment issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility environment
• Assist with general facility upkeep including lighting, cleanup, debris removal, and basic outdoor/property support
• Support facility improvement projects and coordinate with contractors/vendors
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues to minimize operational downtime
Minimum Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or facility maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED required
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of maintenance responsibilities
Equipment & Work Environment
• Warehouse and industrial production environment
• Work at heights and in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures as needed
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Rotating on-call responsibilities and occasional Saturday coverage
Preferred Skills
• Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, or pneumatics
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Exposure to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) or industrial controls
