Maintenance Technician

Job Functions:

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tasks as scheduled.
• Assist with all repairs, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.
• Complete work requests accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible.
• Ensure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
• Assuring Resident Safety
• Shift is 2nd and hours are 3pm to 11pm Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• Be a high school graduate
• Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of the organization
• Possess ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Be capable of maintaining effective working relationships with residents, family members, department heads, and fellow associates
• 5 years relevant experience in healthcare and/or hospital maintenance/Building maintenance
• Need knowledgeable experience in the maintenance field
• MUST have resume showing 5+ years and references
