Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be expected to execute all facility maintenance related activities to ensure production schedules are met. The Technician is expected to execute the service of preventative, corrective, predictive maintenance as directed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate and assist in troubleshooting and repair of all property including manufacturing equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Responsible for reporting safety issues in all plants.
• Works in supporting production activities to achieve and maintain plant specific KPI's.
• Provide recommendations for improving current systems.
• Follow all company and safety policies.
• Assist with new equipment installation.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, water and electrical systems.
• Ability to read system schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Must be able to communicate needs to Maintenance Supervisor, Plant Manager and co-workers.
• Must be capable of performing multiple operations simultaneously.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Fiix or other CMMS systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand 3-4 hours at a time.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry 55 pounds.
• Must be able to push, pull and bend.
