Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift Non-Exempt - reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager $27.00 to $29.00 per hour SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider that supplies OEMs with printed circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, thereby maintaining production and quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum productivity and quality while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. This position possesses a great deal of opportunity for growth! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production/facilities equipment. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Member of the Safety Committee.
- Perform mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair of production machines.
- Be ready to provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production machinery.
- Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Experience: - At least 3 years of experience with troubleshooting and repair is required.
