Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and tools to identify any potential problems or breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that arise, minimizing downtime and ensuring that production can continue as scheduled.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly and reliably.
  • Respond promptly to any emergency breakdowns or system failures.
  • Work closely with the production team to understand their needs and ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including any parts or components replaced.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest maintenance techniques and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols associated with equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in a relevant field or a professional certification such as a Certified Maintenance Technician (CMT) would be a plus.
