Maintenance Technician

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for Maintenance Technicians to work for our clients in the Portland, OR., and Vancouver, WA., areas. These positions could be in food, industrial manufacturing, or high-tech manufacturing environments depending on your qualifications and preferences. We are seeking applicants with at least 1 year of related experience that are excited to join a team and grow their skills. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Trouble shoot and repair manufacturing equipment.

• Remove, setup, and or install new equipment.

• Perform scheduled maintenance.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

• Operate hand and power tools as needed.

• Comply with all safety policies, procedures and laws.

• Work in accordance with blueprints and schematics.

• Interface with all levels of the team to solve problems including operators, engineers, and management staff when needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a maintenance technician, maintenance mechanic, or millwright.

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and basic facilities maintenance.

• Ability to work within a team as needed or independently.

• Welding knowledge is preferred.

• PLC knowledge is helpful.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Strong communication; verbal and written.

• Openness to shift, weekends and overtime is helpful but not required for all roles.
