We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.  Compensation range starting at $27.00 to $35.00/hr based on experience, to join our VALUES based organization.

    Position Summary

    The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of automated production equipment and CNC machinery. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The technician will work with automated production lines, CNC machines, electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and related manufacturing equipment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    · Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated production lines and CNC equipment.

    · Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.

    · Diagnose equipment failures to minimize downtime.

    · Maintain and repair CNC routers, machining centers, saws, and other manufacturing equipment.

    · Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and machine drawings.

    · Perform equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and commissioning activities.

    · Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and equipment reliability.

    · Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities accurately.

    · Coordinate with production personnel to prioritize repairs and maintenance needs.

    · Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and recommend replacement parts as needed.

    · Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.

    · Assist with training operators on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting techniques.

    · Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and provide timely repairs.

    Qualifications

  • Required

    · High school diploma or GED.

    · Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

    · Experience maintaining automated production lines and CNC machinery.

    · Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

    · Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

    · Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

    · Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.

    · Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

    Preferred

    · Minimum 3 years of experience.

    · Experience with PLC troubleshooting would be a plus.

    · Experience with VFDs and servo motors would be a plus.

    · CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment would be a plus.

    · Welding and fabrication experience.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    · Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    · Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

    · Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS).

    Physical Requirements

    · Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.

    · Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    · Ability to work at heights and around moving mechanical equipment.

    · Ability to work in varying manufacturing environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.

    Work Schedule

    · Full-time position.

    · Overtime and occasional weekends may be required to support production needs and emergency repairs.

    Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of automated manufacturing systems and CNC equipment.
