About Us: Garnet Hotels is expanding its team at our Hilton-brand property and is looking for a skilled and dependable
Maintenance Technician. This role ensures that the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and guest rooms remain in excellent condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all guests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct daily property walks to identify and address repair needs
- Assist with room preventive maintenance (PM) according to Hilton brand standards
- Maintain pool, fitness center, and other facility equipment (if applicable)
- Work with the Chief Engineer or GM to manage work orders and prioritize tasks
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and hotel procedures
- Support emergency maintenance needs as required
Requirements:
- Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred (Hilton experience is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or trade certification preferred
