Maintenance Technician
Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running? We’re looking for an experienced technician to join a growing manufacturing team where your skills will have a direct impact on uptime, efficiency, and production success.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of manufacturing equipment and machinery. You’ll handle preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and help minimize downtime on critical production equipment. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manual and automated manufacturing equipment
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PMs) on production machinery
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
- Inspect machine guards, safety controls, and related equipment
- Use maintenance systems to track work orders, PM schedules, and repairs
- Help identify root causes of equipment downtime and implement improvements
- Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with outside service providers when needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 10+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with pumps, piping, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine controls
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Experience:
- Trade license, technical training, or Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Knowledge of building systems and controls
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
