Monarch Investment is actively hiring for a: Maintenance Technician position at Pecan Grove/Rosewood Apartments in Alexandria, LA!

This is a full-time and permanent role with amazing benefits package and quarterly bonus structure at a TOP 10 National company!

  • Drivers license, background check and drug screen required

PAY: $16-23 an hour

On call every 4th week, $100 on-call bonus, up to $3,000+ a year in other bonuses

SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5 with some on-call

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

  • Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Maintaining property grounds
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
  • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members

EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in general maintenance and 6 months in apartment maintenance preferred
  • Some drywall experience including painting and carpentry
  • Strong plumbing experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • Have good verbal and written communication
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
  • Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
