Maintenance Technician (5th Shift)
Location: Lincoln, NH 03251
Pay Rate: $28.97 - $60.82/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Full-Time | 5th Shift
Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Shift Length: 36 hours per week

Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial equipment, facility systems, and production machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, replacing worn components, and supporting facility operations to ensure safe and reliable production.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, pneumatic systems, and other industrial machinery.
- Observe equipment operation and identify root causes of mechanical failures.
- Disassemble machinery, inspect components, and replace worn or defective parts.
- Perform equipment adjustments, calibrations, lubrication, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Test machinery following repairs to verify proper operation.
Fabrication & Repair
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machine shop tools to complete repairs and modifications.
- Fabricate or install replacement components as needed to maintain equipment performance.
Facility Maintenance
- Perform general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and facility upkeep.
Electrical Support
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues under the guidance of the plant electrician.
- Support maintenance activities involving motors, controls, and facility electrical systems.
Inventory & Documentation
- Monitor equipment condition and identify replacement part requirements.
- Submit material requests for maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial troubleshooting experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial plumbing and pipefitting.
- Experience working with PVC, CPVC, and black steel piping systems.
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience in a production environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or technical school certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or manufacturing equipment maintenance experience preferred.
