Job Description: 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: Elkhart, IN
Starting Pay Range: $25–$35/hr.+ (based on experience)
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expect 40–50 hours/week
Responsibilities:
As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by handling:
- Preventive maintenance: Regular inspections and service on equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
- Breakdowns: Fast, effective repair response
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues using schematics, multimeters, blueprints, and tools
- Repairs: Motors, conveyors, belts, pipefitting, steam/water systems
- Safety: Follow strict protocols (LOTO), participate in audits
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are a must
- Proactive, organized, and safety-minded
- Strong communicator with a sense of urgency
- Willing to work occasional Saturday mornings for preventive maintenance or projects
