Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Our Salt Lake City facility is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift.
Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Working in a team-oriented environment, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime and support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and production equipment
- Replace defective or worn components
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Collaborate with outside contractors and service providers as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary technical training or coursework preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds & climb ladders
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
