Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Our Salt Lake City facility is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift.

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Working in a team-oriented environment, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and production equipment
• Replace defective or worn components
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Collaborate with outside contractors and service providers as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary technical training or coursework preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds & climb ladders
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
