Job Summary
 

The Maintenance Technician maintains the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, building and grounds to ensure efficient production of products. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Removes and installs machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Troubleshoots all systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends solutions for repair
  • Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needs
  • Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required
  • Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards
  • Maintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas
  • Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees
  • Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled
  • Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions
  • Completes all required safety permits, assessments, and practices relating to assigned tasks
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

 

Job Requirements
 

  • Experience in crane and rigging operations
  • Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs
  • Experience working with electrical 460vac and electrical schematics
  • Forklift training and certification will be provided by company as necessary
  • Forklift training and certification will be provided as necessary
  • Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided
  • Hot work training provided
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
