Hourly Rate: $32.53 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment at the Hagerstown facility while working a four‑day, ten‑hour schedule on either a Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and packaging equipment, including extruders, forming and frying systems, primary and secondary packaging lines, pouching machines, conveyors, and increasingly automated systems such as robotics.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems supporting manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Support equipment changeovers, installations, and upgrades as needed.
- Follow maintenance schedules, work orders, and documented procedures to ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed and parts used.
- Comply with safety policies, food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with operations and other maintenance team members to reduce downtime and improve performance.
- Escalate equipment issues and risks to the Maintenance Team Leader as appropriate.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED.
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with experience troubleshooting production equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and work orders.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
