Duties and Responsibilities:
â Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures
â Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
â Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments
â Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
â Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
â Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPâs) always.
â Perform other duties as assigned.
Due to the environment, the following are required: hearing protection, slip resistant shoes and eye protection. Work area is an oily environment.
Qualification Requirements:
â Ability to read and understand blueprints
â Able to set up and operate a variety of machine tools.
â Able to fit and assemble parts to fabricate or repair tools and maintain industrial machines.
â Applies knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, material properties, layout, and machining procedures required.
â Observes and listens to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and determine needs for adjustments or repair.
â Dismantles machine or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects or to remove defective parts.
â Assembles and tests operating machines to verify correction of malfunction.
â May maintain and lubricate machine tools and equipment.
â May repair or replace faulty wiring, switches or relays.
â Motivated, detail oriented and the ability to perform as a team player
â Good reading and math skills
â Strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
â High school education or GED
â Able to read, write, and speak English
â Strong communication and interpersonal skills
â Self starter who can work with minimal supervision
â Able to communicate and take direction from the Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
â Attention to detail.
â Legible record-keeping and data entry skills.
â Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities.
â Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
â Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, tree phase motor controls. Troubleshoot AC & DC drive
â Minimum of 6 months work longevity
