Job Details

Under the supervision of the President and the Property Manager / Leasing Associates, the primary
responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor is to assist the Property Manager / Leasing Associates
and the President with all aspects of property maintenance and capital improvements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintain fire sprinkler log and track 5-year certifications
  • Maintain roof log, coordinate and contract for annual summer roof maintenance, and

maintain roof warranty spreadsheet.
  • Coordinate and assist with roof leak repairs
  • Maintain HVAC service log, coordinate and contract for quarterly filter replacements an d

HVAC maintenance where applicable.
  • Coordinate unit restorations and assist with the repair of building systems
  • Assist with capital improvement projects including roof replacements, exterior painting,

asphalt and concrete repairs and replacements
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Inspect properties while on-site and report necessary maintenance and repairs to property

managers
  • Other general building and property maintenance as directed by the property manager s and

the President.
Physical Requirements:
  • Bending and lifting 50 to 70 pounds on a regular basis
  • Climbing ladders

Essential Job Function:
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and other building systems

Computer Knowledge:
  • Must have basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License
  • Must carry the minimum level of auto insurance as required by California law
