For over 90 years, Prudential Overall Supply has been a trusted leader in the uniform and textile rental industry. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within our cleanroom laundry facility.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment, utility systems, and facility infrastructure while supporting a high-performing maintenance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime, supporting production goals, and driving continuous improvement throughout the operation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining industrial processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. Applicable military maintenance experience is strongly considered.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing maintenance personnel in an industrial environment.
  • Experience planning preventive maintenance programs, managing maintenance priorities, and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, contractor activities, and parts inventories.
  • Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic systems, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient with power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and manlifts.
  • Experience maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, reverse osmosis water treatment systems, and wastewater treatment systems is highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Leadership

  • Lead, train, and develop maintenance personnel to support safe and efficient facility operations.
  • Assign, prioritize, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Conduct employee training and support staffing and workforce development efforts.

Equipment Reliability & Repairs

  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment, water systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, conveyor, welding, HVAC, boiler, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Diagnose and repair automated, PLC-driven equipment and production systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, reverse osmosis systems, and other production equipment.
  • Ensure equipment uptime and reliability to support production schedules and customer service commitments.

Planning & Administration

  • Manage maintenance budgets, labor utilization, parts inventories, and outside service providers.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, and performance reports.
  • Coordinate contractor activities, equipment installations, and facility improvement projects.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining timely response to maintenance requests and equipment issues.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to the safe, environmentally responsible, and ethical operation of the facility.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, maintenance processes, and operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support major equipment overhauls, shutdowns, and special projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and plant leadership to support operational goals.
  • Occasionally work outside normal business hours or weekends to support critical maintenance activities and facility projects.
