Maintenance Supervisor - Las Vegas, Nevada

Multiple positions available within Las Vegas Valley

Pay Range: $26.00 to $39.00

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at a residential community in the Las Vegas area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of hands-on technical work and team leadership. You will guide the maintenance team, oversee property upkeep, and ensure residents receive a safe, well maintained, and high quality living experience.

This position includes participation in a rotating on call schedule for afterhours emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise the onsite maintenance team
  • Assign work orders, manage daily schedules, and conduct performance reviews
  • Foster a professional, team oriented environment
  • Perform advanced hands-on maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Ensure all work meets high quality and safety standards
  • Manage the work order system from start to finish
  • Coordinate and inspect the work of outside vendors
  • Oversee the make ready process to ensure timely unit turnovers
  • Assist with maintenance budget planning and cost control
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies and parts as needed
  • Conduct routine property inspections and address issues proactively
  • Support resident satisfaction by responding to maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Two to three years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a residential property setting
  • Experience supervising one or more employees
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • HVAC Certification required for Nevada
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on call schedule
  • General computer skills for managing work orders and reporting

Additional Requirements for Higher Levels

  • Experience managing larger properties ranging from 200 to more than 750 units
  • Experience supervising larger maintenance teams
