The Supervisor Maintenance II will provide strategic leadership in the advancement of the asset optimization elements as well as providing tactical leadership to the maintenance team. This role is a key leader in the delivery of production throughput, downtime, and cost attainment metrics across the site.

What You Will Do:

  • Leads initiatives to eliminate top human safety and food safety risk resulting from reliability driven causes.
  • Ensures all company, state, and federal requirements for human and food safety are met by maintenance employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Provides strategic maintenance leadership for critical business platforms, including the identification, prioritization, and elimination of top losses. Leads short term and long-term reliability and cost improvement projects.
  • Provides oversight and coaching to Supervisors on daily work assignments including reactive, corrective, planned and condition-based maintenance in coordination with Maintenance Planner/Schedulers.
  • Responsible for cost improvement and budget forecasting in partnership with site Maintenance Leader and Finance Manager.

What We Look For:

  • 5 plus years of experience; preferably in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of supervision.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred. Working knowledge of basic statistical tools.
  • Strong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environment.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $113,000 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus; that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
