Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, controls, and food grade welding is highly desirable.
- Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.
- Understanding of GMPs, OSHA regulations, and manufacturing safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead by example and develop high performing maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and work alongside a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Manage daily maintenance activities while effectively allocating resources to support changing production demands.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility related issues using root cause analysis.
- Coordinate and oversee specialized repairs, installations, and capital improvement projects with outside contractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance best practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture through training, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment histories, and documentation within the maintenance management system.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements through Total
- Productive Maintenance (TPM), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and other reliability initiatives.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely support, quality service, and cost effectiveness.
- Support facility and equipment upgrades, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
