Maintenance Supervisor

Successful Maintenance Supervisors come from a variety of industries including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, apartment maintenance, and other related industries. Skill set should include general knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair services for a specific building
• Evaluate and inspect property for short- and long-term needs/improvements
• Work with onsite management and independent contractors to assure work is completed in a professional and timely manner
• Offer guidance and training to maintenance staff
• Respond to requests for occupied maintenance duties including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs.
• Be available to abate emergencies on a 24x7 basis

Requirements

Must have knowledge in the following areas:

• HVAC
• Basic construction
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Tile and flooring
• Electric
• Painting

Experience in the apartment industry helpful, but not required.

Benefits

Base salary ranges from $56,000-62,000 plus 20% yearly bonus potential. Total compensation (base salary plus bonuses) for this position ranges from $68,000 to $74,000/year.
