JOB PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Director of Support Services. This role is responsible for supervising, planning, organizing, managing, directing and evaluating the work of the maintenance, grounds and custodial staff within Navajo Technical University to ensure acceptable environment for staff and student learning. Organizes workflow, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments, establishing work sequence, coordinating utility shutdowns, planning and overseeing equipment repair; coordinating with outside vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and providing technical expertise and consultation; participating in government agency inspections, administering budgets, monitoring inventories; adhering to and enforcing regulations, and policies. This position is required to respond to all issues (24) hours / (7) days on NTU campuses (Crownpoint, NM and Chinle, AZ), as it relates to safety, maintenance, security or custodial.
