What You'll Do

Lead and Develop the Team

Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians across multiple shifts.

Establish priorities and coordinate daily maintenance activities.

Foster a culture built on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.

Build cross-training plans and help develop the next generation of maintenance talent.

Preserve technical knowledge and strengthen bench depth through succession planning.

Keep Operations Running

Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair support for manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

Support thermoforming, extrusion, rotational molding, automation, and auxiliary equipment.

Lead equipment repairs, installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritize corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Assist with root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.

Drive Reliability and Continuous Improvement

Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Safety teams on equipment improvements and capital projects.

Support spare parts management and maintenance planning.

Improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and overall operational performance.

Communicate priorities and project status across departments.

Promote Safety and Compliance

Lead with a safety-first mindset.

Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA requirements and company safety standards.

Support lockout/tagout procedures, machine guarding, and safe work practices.

Participate in safety investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required Qualifications

Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.

Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and production systems.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability principles.

Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with maintenance software and Microsoft Office applications.

Bonus Points If You Have

Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, Plastics Technology, or a related field.

Experience with thermoforming, extrusion, rotational molding, or automated manufacturing systems.

Experience leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
