Location: Cleveland, OH 44117 (HQ)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for building and machine maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Regular building maintenance and repairs
Supervise & develop building and grounds employees
Identify & realize cost improvement opportunities
Vendors relationships to maximize value & mitigate risk to the company
Remodeling/ expansion projects of the building.
Maintain the aesthetics and cleanliness of the facility (interior and exterior)
Manage and direct the cleaning activities
Maintain a safe environment for building occupants and visitors
Conduct regular building inspections and prepare reports
Ensure facility complies with applicable policies, regulations, building codes and expectations
Hire and discipline all department employees
Develop employees through performance management system and career path or development plans
Resolve personnel issues and/or conflicts
Open and close building as required
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent of 5+ years work experience
3+ years of Facilities leadership experience
Strong computer software skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Effective communication, influencing skills and decision-making ability
Trouble shooting experience
Strong attention to detail
Experience establishing programs and processes to improve equipment preventative maintenance programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Walk up to a mile at a time.
Bend, squat, reaches as needed.
Have good vision/corrected to 20-20
Good Hearing and finger dexterity.
Must understand and speak English.

Environmental requirements include working indoors in a high noise level and humid environment.
