JOB SUMMARY
This position will supervise a team of mechanics and ensure daily maintenance goals are met. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Daily Managing Supervision of Employees Follow-up: Quality Safety Turnover Sanitation Cost-Containment / Efficiency of Materials Project Work Coordination Follow-Up Inspections Safety Repair Work Sanitation Paperwork Schedule Work orders Write-up for next shift Shift Prep: Planning of work for employees Planning: Future maintenance work Employee Training
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance or Technology OR 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance with a food processing background
Certifications in Sanitary welding, Boiler operation, Wastewater treatment, and Electrical systems beneficial, but not required Knowledge of Industrial electrical systems, Welding, Boilers, Pneumatics and Hydraulics

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Sitting- to complete a task at lower levels Standing- to complete most all tasks Walking Climbing- to get to parts department, when using ladder, on equipment Reaching- to perform activities, to get tools out of toolbox Kneeling- to perform work activities at low levels Crawling- to perform work activities under equipment Squatting Bending/stooping- to pick up tools or parts, to perform work tasks at lower levels or inside a machine Twisting- to perform work activities Pinch- to use tools, to manipulate wires Grasping/handling- using tools, manipulating parts Must be able to lift/carry machine parts Must be able to build and tear down machines in plant environment Must wear protective/sanitary gear in designated areas of the plant and while doing certain tasks (i.e. hair/beard nets, earplugs, environmental suit, goggles, welding shield.)

Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre-requisite program requirements. Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
