As a Maintenance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping our pharmacy operations running smoothly by maintaining and repairing equipment used both in our pharmacy and at customer facilities. You’ll handle everything from fixing medication carts and replacing locks to supporting deliveries, managing warehouse organization, and assisting with general facility upkeep. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and being out in the field.

Location: On Site at Our Closed-Door Pharmacy: 16601 Central Green Blvd, Houston, TX  77032

Salary Range: $20-$22 per hour (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and refurbish pharmacy equipment such as medication and treatment carts
  • Perform lock repairs/replacements and general equipment troubleshooting
  • Travel to customer sites for on-site repairs, including occasional urgent requests
  • Assist with delivery and pickup of equipment, supplies, and medications
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and workspace
  • Receive and stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper handling
  • Support general building maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Assist with moving equipment and supplies as needed
  • Communicate issues, concerns, and customer feedback to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Previous maintenance or repair experience (furniture, cabinetry, equipment, etc.)
  • Experience working with tools and basic mechanical repairs
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs. as needed
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and handling multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel locally (up to 50%)
