Maintenance Specialist - Manufacturing Environment

DeForest, WI | 1st Shift | Monday – Friday

From libraries to schools, our products help shape learning spaces across the country. Now, we’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Specialist to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.  

This is not your average maintenance role.  You’ll be the go-to expert keeping both our facility and manufacturing equipment in top shape.  Duties include:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and root cause analysis on production issues
  • Handle facility upkeep including light HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, and more
  • Complete interior repairs (drywall, flooring, fixtures) and support building aesthetics
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party contractors
  • Maintain inspection records (fire, sprinkler, safety compliance)
  • Support snow removal and exterior maintenance during winter months
  • Play an active role in safety initiatives and OSHA compliance
  • Coverage for off hours alarm response as needed

Qualified candidates will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or manufacturing environments
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and general facility systems
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and fix complex issues
  • A Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and jump in wherever needed
  • A Valid driver’s license 
  • Ability to be standing / walking throughout your shift and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfort in working in varying conditions (including heights and outdoor elements during all seasons)
  • OSHA 10 hour certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations
  • Forklift or equipment operation experience (or willingness to learn)
