    What you'll do at DBH:

    The Maintenance Repair Worker performs a variety of tasks to ensure the safe, efficient and proper operation of the facility and grounds. Responsibilities include ground maintenance, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work as well as general building maintenance and repairs

    Key Responsibilities

    Plumbing

    • Repair or replace faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, and plumbing fixtures

    • unclog drains and repair minor water leaks

    • Assist with plumbing installations and preventative maintenance

    • Inspect plumbing services and report deficiencies requiring advanced repair

    HVAC

    • Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and on air conditioning systems

    • Change air filters, clean equipment and inspect HVAC components

    • Assist with minor HVAC repair and troubleshoot basic system issues

    Carpentry

    • Repair doors, windows, locks, cabinets, drywall, flooring and other building components

    • Install or repair shelving, trim, and other finish carpentry items

    • Perform minor paining, patching, and finishing work as needed

    • Assist with construction and renovation projects

    Ground Maintenance

    • Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas

    • Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including leaf removal and snow/ice removal as required.

    This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 5 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30am-4pm.This position is located within our Summit Behavioral Healthcare Campus at 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati Ohio 452371101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237
